2023 legacy focuses
Church Planting
Studies show that church plants are one of the most effective ways to spread the gospel. We believe in church planting and this year's Legacy Offering will be used to help establish new churches worldwide.
bible translation
Did you know that some languages still lack a translation of the Bible? This year's Legacy Offering will be utilized to assist in translating the Bible into one of those languages, giving people to access God's Word.
local non-profits
We are committed to partnering with local organizations that are making a big difference in caring for our city. This year’s Legacy Offering will help further the mission of many non-profits in our city.
lifting kids
Lifting Kids is a nonprofit organization located in central Guatemala that is dedicated to breaking the cycle of poverty through education and connecting students and families with the message of Jesus. This year’s Legacy Offering will help further the mission of Lifting Kids in Guatemala.
RESTORATION FOR HUMAN TRAFFICKING SURVIVORs
We will partner with Agape International Missions (AIM) as they help survivors come to know their worth and value in Christ, develop a dependence on Him, and develop skills for a sustainable life. One of their four focuses is their restoration center. Rescued girls are moved into the Restoration Homes in Cambodia and Belize. Here they are loved, valued, and equipped for a new life of freedom. Girls receive vocational training, counseling, housing, education, and more throughout their stay. We strongly believe in the restoration that will come from one person experiencing this and would love to partner with AIM to provide restoration for a survivor for one full year.
hoop for hope
We are partnering with One Child for the hoop for hope initiative. The long-term vision is to build a basketball court at every one child Hope Center in the Dominican Republic. Basketball is the fastest growing sport in the Dominican Republic. In the locations of most hope centers there are not organized sports like we have in the states. There are not playgrounds with courts, and some kids have to walk miles to find a legitimate court to play. By providing a space for kids to play basketball, our prayer is that kids will leave these courts knowing about Jesus.
